ADVENT AT WELLSHIRE
Our theme for Advent 2013 is The Characters of Christmas. Each week during worship, we will focus on one of the well-known characters of the Christmas stories in the gospels. Keep an eye out --- the logo will change each week, highlighting the characters involved in that week's story. We will look at them as ordinary people just like us who were used by God to accomplish extraordinary things and we will look at the role they played in the incarnation of Jesus Christ.
During our Adult Education hour at 9:55 am, join Rev. Mary Ann Dimand for a closer examination of each character through the lens of art, literature, and movies.

WHAT IS YOUR FAMILY DOING FOR ADVENT?
Wellshire member Angela Duggan says:
I found this website and chose 25 different acts of service/kindness that would be age-appropriate for our girls. I placed each idea in an envelope along with a little special treat like a piece of candy or little toy figurine for each day up until Christmas. The girls have such fun opening the envelopes but even more fun doing the act of service and kindness for others.
