Dear Friends and Members,
Our beloved Rev. Sherry Schacht slipped quietly from this life to the next late this morning (Friday, February 26, 2016). Her husband Chuck and daughter Liz were at her side at home. Funeral arrangements will be determined soon and you will be receiving more information as it becomes available. Please hold Sherry and her family in your prayers and do not contact the family at this time. Sherry lived a life filled with courage, grace and dignity. Let us now honor her and her family in the same way as we look forward to the celebration of her life that will take place at First Congregational UCC, Romeo, in a few days.
Thank you, again, for your compassionate presence and love. Sherry was truly grateful and felt incredibly blessed by you.
