TRUTH, JUSTICE and the AMERICAN LIE

broken promises and the hope of the common good

Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, prolific writer, filmmaker and speaker, will speak Saturday on "Truth Justice and the American Lie," then preach Sunday on how "church" can make it different.

On Saturday, a stellar panel (Bill Wylie-Kellermann, Laura Gillespie MacIntyre, Claire McClinton, Alex Overton and Barbara Griffith Wilson), will respond and enrich our discussion.

Please keep in your prayers, filled with good health and emotional and spiritual support, the Rev. Ruth Moerdyk and the Rev. Eric Thorsen.

The Michigan Conference asks for continued prayers for Rev. Deborah Dean-Ware, pastor of Church of the Good Shepherd in Ann Arbor. Deborah has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is receiving medical treatment. Deborah is blogging about her experience at:
