Your Prayers Are Needed

The Michigan Conference joins in prayer with countless others on behalf of those killed last night at the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC. The tragic slaughter of those gathered for prayer in a house of worship is beyond comprehension. We pray for the family of the pastor who was killed, and the families of the eight others who died in the shooting. We pray for one other who is hospitalized. We pray for all the members of the Emanuel congregation. We pray that the shooter is quickly found and brought to justice. And, we pray for this nation where hate-crimes and gun violence are all to common. God have mercy on us.

General Synod Rendezvous

Going to General Synod this summer? The Michigan Delegation invites all Michiganders who are in Cleveland for Synod to gather on Sunday, June 28th following the 3:00 p.m. Synod Service of Worship (about 5:00 p.m.). We will gather in *Room 6 on the Concourse Level at the Convention Center. This will be a good opportunity to meet and greet one another; and those who wish to make dinner plans for the evening may team up as well!
