At our Annual Meeting in East Lansing, the theme was UNEXPECTED Places. For our Friday night service of worship, Rev. Tom Ott and Emily LeBrecque from First Congregational UCC in Battle Creek spoke a passionate prayer. Many people requested their invocation. Here it is - thanks Tom and Emily.


 

Local Pastor highlights YFX Physical Theatre group in Detroit!


 

Dr. Todd S. Farley, Senior Minister of First Congregational Church in Saginaw, and the YFX Physical Theatre group from Detroit will be contestants on the upcoming Tru TV show "Fake Off".  The show debuts on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10:00 PM.  Below is a link to see the clips from YFX.  The show was filmed in May of this year.  Anyone wishing to set up an interview with Dr. Farley may call him at 626-475-4543 or send him an email at

Our hope is for some positive publicity that will benefit both our church, the local Saginaw community, and the YFX Physical Theatre group from Detroit.

In sadness we share the news...

Former Detroit Metropolitan Association pastor, the Rev. Edward Reinhardt passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the age of 85. Rev. Reinhardt served the Nativity UCC in Livonia from 1967 - 1973.  He is survived by his wife, Kathy and other family.
