Holy Innocents Garden

All Souls Catholic Cemetery

On Sunday, October 7^th, Holy Innocents Garden at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Cottonwood was blessed and dedicated. Reverend David Kelash presided at the blessing which was attended by over 125 parishioners of Immaculate Conception Parish. This section of the cemetery is dedicated to children and the unborn. As at each Catholic Cemetery in the Diocese of Phoenix, babies under 20 weeks gestation who have not drawn the breath of life receive cost free burial..

 

The Innocents Angel, carved out of liberty grey granite, sits atop a granite base marked with a bronze plaque. The feature was designed and created by Cold Spring Granite.

 

We extend thanks to Immaculate Conception Parish and to Fr. David Kelash for his support. Thanks also go to Gary Brown, President of Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries as well as to Patrick Stoffel, Manager of All Souls Catholic Cemetery.
