26th Annual Chamber Golf Classic | Monday, August 3rd | 12pm Shotgun Start | Eagle Creek Golf Course, Willmar
 

Invites have been mailed and teams are filling up fast! Join us this year on August 3rd as the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber hosts the 26th Annual Golf Classic at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Willmar. Registration for this event is $85/person for non-course members and $75/person for golf course members and you can sign up as a team or a single!

Four WLACC Board Nominations Open

The Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is soliciting nominations for the Board of Directors. Board terms are three years in length. Members in good standing are eligible to be nominated and qualify for election. Nominations may be forwarded to: Nominating Committee, Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, 2104 Highway 12 East, Willmar, MN 56201, or emailed to [email protected]. Submissions accepted until Friday July 31st.

The Minnesota Chamber in conjunction with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Bank, will host "Cybersecurity Essentials: Is your Business Protected?" on Wednesday, September 16 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis to address this important business issue. The Minnesota Chamber and U.S. Chamber are pleased to present this program as part of the U.S. Chamber's "2015 Cybersecurity Campaign: Improving Today. Protecting Tomorrow." Vision 2040 | An Evening of Stories | The Goodness Coffee House | July 30th, 5pm

 

Vison 2040 will be hosting an "Evening of Stories" on Thursday, July 30th downtown in The Goodness Coffee House Parking Lot.  The event will showcase "Green Card Voices" on Minnesota Immigrant Stories.  The reception starts at 5pm with speakers starting at 5:30pm. Retirement Open House | Steve Renquist | Wednesday, July 29th | Kandiyohi Health & Human Services Building

  

Please join us to honor Steve Renquist on his retirement as the Executive Director at the EDC. The retirement open house is to be held at the Kandiyohi County Health & Human Services Building (2200 23rd Street NE, Willmar) on Wednesday, July 29th from 3:00-5:00. It will be in the Mulitpurpose Room on the lower level.
