Happy Spring!
April 2013
Dear (Contact First Name),
Peoples loves to support and educate our local community. Last Sunday we enjoyed taking part in Edible Austin's first Children's Picnic & Real Food Fair at the French Legation Museum. Up next, we're looking forward to the HIV/AIDS & Aging Symposium May 3rd and the "Give Autism a Chance" Dinner on May 18th.

We also love hosting our own free and low-cost events and we have several coming up that you won't want to miss! Click the links on the right and make plans to attend an amazing Natural Vision Improvement or Women's Health workshop, or even get inspired to Transform Your Life

BPA: Sheep in Wolf's Clothing
Compelling evidence is now coming to light about manufacturers who had discontinued the use of the toxic hormone-disrupting chemical bisphenol A (BPA). They may have simply switched to an equally toxic analogue in the same bisphenol chemical class AKA bisphenol S (BPS), in order to evade regulatory oversight and trick consumers with their misleading "BPA-FREE!" labels.

HCl: The Body's Primary Digestant
digestivesystem
Are you feeling as if you're not able to digest the foods you used to love, even indulge in? There's a reason! The body's primary digestant and disinfectant is Hydrochloric Acid (HCl). HCl is produced by the stomach and has the job of breaking down proteins. If you make plenty of HCl, then the body can adequately digest protein. If not, protein digestion is compromised.                                                             Read more →

Health in the News: Alzheimer's, Obesity, Diabetes
Drugs
News updates that may affect you! Scientists find that a low-carb diet may slow Alzheimer's disease; an epilepsy drug can reverse memory loss; and a popular diabetes drug may harm the pancreas.                                                                                             Read more →
