A Message From Pastor Matt
Pastor Matt

Friends in Christ at Crown of Glory,

Who doesn't like the dog-days of summer riddled with distractions and possibilities!  These steamy afternoons when a jet-cold can of ginger ale is manna from heaven.  My nervous system has  totally forgotten the sting of the arctic winds. Yahoo! I long for the joy of our fall in gathering again.  Not gathering grain, but gathering people! People who have been sequestered in the remote nooks and lakes of Minnesota and are finally back from the summer siesta.  For those of you who stay-cation here in Chaska and surrounding, I happen to think we are among the luckiest around.

So drink in the warm nights and the back-to-school jitters and clamor of our children and know this great mix of life is a gift of God.

Rally weekend is within Reach on the 7th and 8th of September.  Already the plans for root beer floats and cookout food through the weekend are in motion.   Our worship times shift to 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. on the 8th as well as the 5:30 p.m. Saturday service.

A robust thanks to all who helped in August  by filling out a CAT, Congregational Assessment Tool.   This is the  tool that Kairos is using to help us figure out how to move forward on our next phase of the congregation's life together.  On  Sunday, September 15th at 11:00 a.m.,  our consultants will bring a report of what they learned from the 214 of you who completed the survey.  Don't miss it!  It will build our understanding for some key decisions and efforts that lay before us.

Come enjoy!  The joy of worship  and the inner peace of a holy meal awaits you.

Pastor Matt Bersagel
