A Message from Pastor Matt |
Easter blessings to you all!
Diana Butler Bass wrote that a certain bishop was asked whether he believed in the resurrection. "Believe in it, I've seen it too many times not to believe." You see, resurrection is not a fact to be verified; you simply can't prove it. It is not a decision or a position; It is a trust. It is a reliance on the living God to bring vitality and life to a dying world. It is what God does with us when all hope is lost and when our possibilities and efforts are exhausted. How do you trust God? That is the question we ask. Resurrection is a dynamic of life, a surprising path of Grace that looked like no path at all.
Thanks be to God for the risen Christ in this world!
Shalom,
Pastor Matt

A NOTE FROM LUCI
I am excited to announce that my husband Chris and I have both been accepted into the Master of Divinity program at Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. We are eagerly anticipating the start a new chapter in our lives and exploring what God has planned for our future in ministry. Nevertheless, I am fortunate to be able to finish out the program year and of course be here for my favorite week: Vacation Bible School! I want to thank the families and staff at Crown of Glory for almost four years of memories; it has been an unforgettable journey.

Team members may occasionally be asked to prepare a meal, send a caring card, provide a ride to a doctor appointment or assist in other special ways for families.
