Connecting the Seton Keough High School Community
Happy Autumn!
From President Donna Bridickas

Dear Alumnae and Friends,

Happy autumn! I trust this issue of Alumlines finds you enjoying life. Another school year has begun and I find it hard to believe that it is October already. I saw a number of you here on campus in September to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the opening of Archbishop Keough and our inaugural Taste of Seton Keough. This past Sunday we celebrated Seton Day for our Seton Alumnae. The Taste of Seton Keough event was the first one in the history of the school to be sponsored by all three alumnae groups to raise money for tuition assistance and scholarships.

I want to thank the leadership of each alumnae group for their support. Special thanks goes to: Carolyn Donohue S'55, Roxane Chambers S'82, Trish Cook K'69, Tracey Stone K'86, Rosa Cruz-Penafiel K'86, Kristen Steinman Lamont SK'08, and Kat Choma-Knapp, SK'99. These women met since last December to plan and organize the event. This proves that our unique heritage and bond as women transcends whether we attended Seton, Archbishop Keough or Seton Keough.

Saturday, October 24 from 1 to 3 pm is our annual Open House. If you are in the area or the mom of a 6th, 7th or 8th grader, I encourage you to stop by to reconnect or share the wonderful experience you had at Seton, Archbishop Keough or Seton Keough with future students. You are our best ambassadors.

During this autumn season, may God bless you and your families.

In Christ,

Donna Bridickas
President
Seton Keough High School

Knott Foundation Grant
Yesterday afternoon the school learned the Marion I. and Henry J. Knott Foundation is awarding Seton Keough a $47K technology grant. The money will be used to update the school's wireless infrastructure. This will ensure students, faculty and staff faster access to the network and Internet. The plan is for the work to be done over the Christmas holidays and be completed in January of 2016.
