Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life
Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die."
We pray for blessings on all members of the Seton Keough community this Easter Season. Know that we are grateful for your continued support of Seton Keough High School. May God bless you and those you love.
Sincerely,
Angela Calamari

Girls in Tech Weekend: May 9-10
Seton Keough will be the host for the Girls in Tech Weekend, May 9-10. The two-day event gives elementary, middle, and high school girls the opportunity to explore the world of technology.
Archbishop Keough alumna Rosa Cruz Penafiel K'88, Vice President of the Archbishop Keough Alumnae Association and Director of Communications and Marketing, Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation/Chesapeake Innovation Center, made the connection for Seton Keough to be the host of this event, "I do a lot of work with the Chesapeake Region Tech Council and their executive director, Kris Shock. Kris and I were talking one day about getting more girls into STEM-related careers and I suggested that Seton Keough may be a good fit for a venue given its strong innovative curriculum and education of young women."
Both the Seton and Archbishop Keough Alumnae Associations are providing food and drinks for the event.

Seton Keough Engineering Students Visited the Space Telescope Science Institute
Seton Keough engineering students career shadowed on Friday, March 7 at The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScl), home of the Hubble Space Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
The students began the day in a panel discussion, listening to six institute professionals discussing STEM careers. The students then went to the observatory to see the Morris W. Offit Telescope. In the afternoon, the girls took part in The Marshmallow Challenge, in which teams of two had to build structures that could support the weight of a marshmallow using only uncooked spaghetti noodles, a yard of string, and a yard of tape.
STScI also provides data archive and distribution for all of NASA's optical/UV missions. Seton Keough's engineering students are the first group to have this opportunity. Thanks to Junior Achievement of Central Maryland who is working to connect students with real-life careers in science and technology. A story about their visit was featured in the Catonsville Voice Magazine:

7th Annual Kathleen Bowen Walk for Hope
On Wednesday, March 12, Seton Keough students, faculty, and staff spent a day of service raising money for the St. Jude Children's Research hospital. The day began with a prayer service in the school auditorium. Principal Angela Calamari shared her own battle with cancer. The entire student body then moved outside to begin the walk. In addition to walking students ran numerous morale rooms around the school to raise money. The NHS organized the Pantene's Beautiful Lengths hair-cutting event. Many students and a couple faculty members cut their hair and donated it for free, real-hair wigs for women with cancer. The school surpassed its goal, raising $5,000 that was donated to St. Jude's. Stories about the Walk for Hope were featured in both the Catholic Review and Arbutus Times:
