Connecting the Seton Keough High School Community

From Principal Angela Calamari

My wish for you is that you are blessed with the joy of your family and friends this holiday. May you be grateful for all your blessings and may we all remember to be thankful for the people in our community that are a reflection of God's love.

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for your support and all you do for Seton Keough High School.

Campus Improvements
The next time you visit the Seton Keough campus, you will be excited to see some major improvements. Through a generous grant from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the entire exterior of the building has been caulked, which will eliminate any water entering the building during bad weather. The main entrance overhang has been completely overhauled with repairs and new paint. Through a generous donation of a local benefactor all the seats in the school auditorium have been replaced with modern, fabric seats; the auditorium has also been painted. Through donations from alumnae and parents a new dance studio is now in place with mirrored walls and a certified sprung dance floor. The dance program is growing so rapidly it needed its own dedicated space.

The school is open for you to visit anytime! Alumnae are welcome to attend Mass, school concerts, theatre performances, and athletic events (see calendar). If you would like a private tour, please contact the Alumnae Office at 410-646-4444.
Seton Keough's A Cappella Choir is in Demand
Seton Keough's award-winning music program has a superior reputation in and out of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The A Cappella Choir, the elite choral group under the direction of Ms. Sarah Larson, has been asked to perform for the Archdiocese and for Archbishop William E. Lori. They were asked to perform at his installation ceremony on May 16, 2012 and to perform for the reception following the installation festivities. They performed beautifully at a benefit concert headlined by the band Chicago in May of 2013. This fall, they have been asked to perform twice for the Archbishop, at the Golden Jubilee Mass celebrated by him in September at the Mother Seton House, and again at the Archdiocese of Baltimore Gala on October 19.

You may hear them for yourself along with the concert band, concert choir, and hand bell choir at the Annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. The event is free and all are welcome.
Seton Keough's Science Program is Producing Outstanding Results

Seton Keough is in its fifth year of offering the Project Lead the Way biomedical and engineering programs. Two Seton Keough classes, 2012 and 2013, have completed the four-year programs with great success. From the class of 2013, 100 percent of the engineering students and 80 percent of the biomedical students received merit-based scholarships to college. One hundred percent of the engineering and biomedical students are attending four-year colleges.
