| Character Counts - Fairness - April 28 | |
This year, Holmes is implementing the Character Counts! character
education curriculum. This program has identified universal values
referred to as the "Six Pillars of Character" which include:
- Trustworthiness
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Fairness
- Caring
- Citizenship
The school Counselor will be visiting each classroom once a month to
present lessons on the different character traits. Teachers will align
their "Caught-Ya's" to include these character traits.
There will also be a "Color day" each month where the entire school is
encouraged to wear a specific color that represents the character trait
being focused on that month.
On Tuesday, April 28th, please wear ORANGE for Fairness!
