Purple Day - March 26

On March 26, people around the world will be wearing purple to show support and spread awareness of epilepsy. Please join the effort to turn Holmes purple on Thursday!

Let's go Clairemont!

Students of Clairemont's neighborhood schools are headed places!!  We are on a path to great things as evidenced by our Cluster-Wide College Going Culture initiative.

What is College-Going Culture you might ask?  That, my friends, is very simple.  All students of the Clairemont Cluster will be prepared for a full range of college options, regardless of what educational or occupational option they choose.  In addition, schools, families, and communities give students the message of high expectations for their future.

We want our students to believe they have a great future, knowing there are many paths they can take to have a successful life journey.

Some activities and events we will be planning over the next year will include: a soiree at Clairemont High to celebrate students' college acceptance letters, College Fair, speaker series and partnering elementary with middle and high school students for local college tours.

We are very excited about these next steps and look forward to sharing this growing experience with our community.  Keep an eye out for upcoming community events to discuss changes at Clairemont High, attend a session and learn about what is going on in our community.  Great schools make a great community.

Be involved, be informed.  Go Clairemont!

Clairemont Day at the Bay - Apr 18

The Clairemont Hills Kiwanis is preparing to hold the 3rd annual Fast Times 5k run that will be followed by the Clairemont Day at the Bay program, an activity based event that will bring nineteen public schools from the community together. The Clairemont Mesa Education Foundation is working with several local organizations and the schools to set up family focused activities and showcase the schools for the community. Our first two annual events were wonderful successes and we are adding more for the community to enjoy. The races will begin at 8:00am and will end by 10:00am when the fun time activities will begin. Click here for more information.
