Back to School (Hours)

Welcome Back to School! Just a quick reminder that our school hours are from 9:05am - 3:30pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri. There is a minimum day on Wed from 9:05am - 1:15pm. View a more detailed daily schedule on the Holmes Web Site.

We need your help to ensure the safety of everyone entering and leaving the school campus each day. Remember OUR #1 priority is YOUR child's safety. Please read our traffic rules on the Holmes Web site and be sure to view the traffic flow map.  
 
Even if your children have been going to Holmes for years, you just might be surprised to learn something new! 

 

Family Friday - Sept 5th

Our first Family Friday of the year is on Friday, Sept 5th. Parents are invited to meet with Principal, Jonathan Saipe, in the Auditorium at 9:10-9:45am. Come get updates about district and school news. 
 
From 9:45-10:10am parents are invited to their child's classroom to read or participate in a learning activity. The Holmes PTA will provide refreshments.

 

Ice Cream Social & Movie Night - Sept 5th

Join us for free ice cream and a family movie to celebrate the start of the new school year. Come out and reconnect with other Holmes families as PTA kicks-off another fabulous school year on Friday, Sept 5th in the Auditorium. 

5:30-6:30pm -  Ice Cream Social 

6:30-8:30pm -  Movie (Lego Movie - Rated PG)

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase beginning at 5pm. For more information on the movie, visit: Lego Movie 
 
**All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. This is not a drop off event.**  
  
School Supply Donations

We welcome school supply donations by parents in these tight budget times. Each grade level has composed a list of Back to School supplies that will enhance your child's learning experience. 
 
These supplies are not mandatory. We appreciate any and all donations!

Join Cub Scouts - Sept 11th
Cub Scouting Fun at every turn Article Subheading
Join Cub Scouts and take part in our fun Fall events! 

Cub Scouting offers boys a year-round, family-oriented program that is filled with character-building activities. Cub Scout Pack 299 invites all boys in 1st-5th Grades and their families to learn more about scouting at our first Pack meeting of the school year on Thursday, Sept 11th at 6:30pm in the Holmes Auditorium.
