Families and friends of our 5th and 6th students are invited to join us for their Promotion Ceremonies in the Auditorium.

Last Day of School
The last day of school is on Friday, June 13th. Please remember that there will be an early 1:15pm dismissal on this day. 

Enjoy your summer vacation! School resumes on Tuesday, Sept 2nd.

Holmes Yearbooks

Holmes 2013-2014 Yearbooks were distributed to students who have pre-ordered them. If you would still like to purchase a yearbook, there are a limited number available for $30.00 each. 
 
If you are interested in buying one or if you ordered a yearbook and your child did not receive it, please email amy.lisson@holmespta.org.

 

Lost & Found
Article Subheading
Please be sure to check the Lost and Found next to Room 4 for clothing and items your child might be missing by June 13th. Everything will be donated to Goodwill over Summer Break. 
 
More valuable items such as jewelry and glasses have been turned in to the School Office. 

 

Summer Garden Watering
 
We are looking for volunteers to water our school gardens over the summer. The schedule will be posted by Room 7. Please sign up for the dates you're available with your name and email (we need this to send you a confirmation and a reminder). Two people per day is optimal!

Watering times are ONLY Mon-Fri 7am-2pm. You must be off campus by 3:00pm as the gates will be locked.

The areas to be watered are:  
~ Kindergarten veggie boxes
~ 2nd grade courtyard boxes  
~ Monarch garden  
~ Library Garden 
~ Canyon Rim garden (1x at the end of June )

Holmes PTA thanks those of you who participate in eScrip. For this fiscal PTA year, we have raised $2,700! This is one of the easiest (and free) ways to support our school all year long. Simply register the debit, credit and grocery cards you use every day. A portion of your purchases are donated back to our school.

The Holmes PTA also thanks you for clipping Box Tops! We raised a total of $2,344.11 for this school year. The classes who earned a Popcorn & Juice Party by turning in the most Box Tops are:

Mrs. Wadleigh, Room 8 - 1,837
Mrs. McTaggart, Room 11 - 1,788

Mileage Club - 6,820 Miles Run!

Thank you to all of the 170 participants of the Mileage Club this year! Students met for a total of 51 days and ran a total of 6,820.4 miles! Great job runners!

New Student Enrollment

New student enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year is now open. The hours for enrollment are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-1:30pm and again from 2:30-4:00pm through June 20th

Enrollment will be available again beginning on August 18th.
