Celebrate the end of the school year with Holmes SPIRIT! Prizes are given for participation in daily themed activities during the week of June 2nd:

Marvel Monday - Go Superheroes!
Travel Tuesday - Wear clothes from the places you visit
Walt Disney Wednesday - Dress like a Disney character
Hippie Thursday - Peace and Love!
Beach Day Friday - Bring your beach chairs & towels, beach toys, a bike and helmet and some snacks! 

Our annual Variety Show will be held on Friday, May 30th. There will be a day performance for students in the Auditorium at 1:30pm and an evening show for parents and families at 6:00pm. 

Come see our students show off their individual talents from singing and dancing to playing instruments and acting.    

We will be holding a School Tour for new families wishing to see campus to enroll new students  on Friday, May 30th. The Tour will be from 9:10 - 10:10am beginning with an orientation in the Auditorium followed by visits to classrooms.

SAFETY REMINDER:  The Parking Lot by the School Office is for staff parking and school buses only.  Please DO NOT use the Parking Lot to park, drop off, or pick up students. For everyone's safety, please use the sidewalks instead of walking through the Parking Lot. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parents and family of K-4th Graders are invited to our Music Class Open House. Come see what your child has been learning in music class this year! 

Open Houses will be held by our music teacher, Kirk Valles, during regular music class times on Tuesday, June 3rd and Thursday, June 5th in Room 18. 

Choral Music is funded by the Holmes PTA for Grades K-4.

Parents of GATE students are invited to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, June 3rd at 5:30-6:30pm in the Auditorium. Come learn about SDUSD goals for the GATE program and how this program is implemented at Holmes.  

This meeting is especially important if you have a newly identified 2nd Grade GATE student.

The San Diego Junior Theatre at Holmes presents: Schoolhouse Rock (A Mini Musical) on Wed, June 4th. Doors open to family and friends at 2:15pm. The performers' families are encouraged to bring a treat for the Reception immediately following the performance.

From 9:45-10:10am parents are invited to their child's classroom to read or participate in a learning activity. 

Cub Scouting offers boys a year-round, family-oriented program that is filled with character-building activities. Holmes Cub Scout Pack 299 invites all boys in K-4th Grades and their families to learn more about Scouting at our last Pack Meeting of the school year on Thursday, June 5th at 6:30pm in the Holmes Auditorium.
