Be sure to visit Holmes Elementary on Thursday, May 22nd for an eventful evening!  It is our Spring Open House and the last PTA Association Meeting of the year.  But that's not all!  We will have our Student Art Show on display in the Library AND it is the final night of our Spring Book Fair.  Read on for more details....

Association Meeting of the year in the Holmes Cafeteria at 5:30 - 6:00pm. Learn about updates to the PTA Budget and about the PTA Board and Chair positions still open for next year.  
 
Please download and review the last PTA Association Meeting Minutes as we will motion to approve them at this week's meeting.
 

Spring Open House

Open House Be sure to visit your child's classroom during our Spring Open House from 6:00 - 7:30pm.   

This is your chance to see what your child has been working on in school, to talk to your child's teacher, and to visit with other Holmes families.
 
Spring Book Fair

Check out the Scholastic Book Fair for your last chance to pick up some good books for summer reading! The Book Fair is open at recess, lunch and after school on Tuesday in the Auditorium. It is also open after school on Wednesday and from 5:00pm - 7:30pm on Thursday night.  
 
It's not too late to volunteer to help check out books! We especially need volunteers to help during Open House. View the Sign Up Sheet.

Student Art Show

If you missed the Student Art Show during Spring Fling, you have another chance to see the Arts Attack display in the Library.  Arts Attack is an award-winning DVD-based art program purchased by the PTA and taught by parent volunteers in the classrooms each month. Come see the fabulous piece of artwork your child has created!
