San Diego Unified School District is closing all of its schools on Thursday, May 15th, due to the uncertain nature of the brush fires throughout the county.

At this time, it is expected that all schools will reopen on Friday. For updates on school status, check the district's website at www.sandi.net.

Volunteers are NEEDED for Spring Fling this Sat, May 17th from 11am - 3pm!  If you can spare an hour of your time to help out at a craft table, we would really appreciate it.

Due to Thursday's school closure, Mileage Club's end of year Awards Breakfast has been rescheduled to Friday, May 16th at 8:30am in the Lunch Court. Medals will be awarded to the top runners in each grade!

Enjoy dinner and a show as Clairemont High School presents your favorite Twilight Zone episodes on Friday, May 16th at 6pm (doors open at 5:30pm). Tickets are just $15 and include show tickets, dinner and a free ticket for door prizes.

Book Fair! A great way to get your children excited about reading! Visit the Holmes Scholastic Book Fair on May 19th to May 22nd in the Holmes Auditorium. 

Students can purchase books during their classroom visit and at the following times:

Mon, May 19th - Recess, Lunch, and After School 

Tue, May 20th - Recess, Lunch, and After School 

Wed, May 21st - After School only

Thur, May 22nd - Open House from 5pm - 7:30pm

Holmes Cub Scout Pack 299 invites boys in K-4th Grade and their families to join us at a New Scout Information Meeting in the Holmes Auditorium on Tuesday, May 27th at 6:30pm.

Come learn more about Cub Scouts and the fun activities we have planned for the summer!
