Our annual Spring Fling will celebrate Holmes' Birthday with a Rock and Roll Birthday Bash on
Sat, May 17th from 11am - 3pm. Sponsored by the Holmes PTA, admission is free. Don't miss out on the fun!

Spring Book Fair - May 19th to 22nd

Book Fair! A great way to get your children excited about reading! Visit the Holmes Scholastic Book Fair on May 19th to May 22nd in the Holmes Auditorium. 

Students can purchase books during their classroom visit and at the following times:

Mon, May 19th - Recess, Lunch, and After School 
Tue, May 20th - Recess, Lunch, and After School 
Wed, May 21st - After School only
Thur, May 22nd - Open House from 5pm - 7:30pm

We need volunteers to help check out books! If you can help, please sign up on the Book Fair Volunteer Sheet.

Marston Silent Auction & Open House - May 8th
Article Subheading
Marston Middle School invites families and friends to their Annual Spring Open House on Thursday, May 8th from 4:30-7:30pm. Enjoy a family dinner in the courtyard, bid on great items at the silent auction (beginning at 4:30), listen to the Jazz Band (6pm), and visit classrooms (6:30 - 7:30pm).

The Silent Auction will include restaurant gift certificates, tickets to local entertainment attractions, participation in fun activities with teachers, and baskets full of wonderful gift items. See a Preview List.

Student Recognition Assemblies - May 9th
 
Our final Student Recognition Assemblies will take place on:

May 9th at 1:45pm - Grades K & 1 
May 9th at 2:45pm - Grades 2 & 3

If your child is being recognized, we hope you can attend. Students take pleasure in sharing this time with their families. Honorees are encouraged to donate a refreshment for the reception that follows the assembly.
 
Girl Scouts Info Meeting - May 13th

A new Girl Scout Daisy Troop is starting at Holmes. The leaders would like to invite girls in (K-1st grade) and their families to attend an information meeting to learn more about joining the Troop.

Cake Show Entry Forms - Due May 14th

Show off your talents and creativity in a friendly competition of confection. Enter a cake in our 6th Annual
Cake Decorating Competition to be on display at the Spring Fling. This year, we have 4 categories:

1) Junior (kids only)
2) Families (kids and families working together)
3) Amateurs/Adults
4) Professionals

Science Fair Experiments - Due May 15th

The Holmes 1st Ever Science Fair will be on display during the Spring Fling. All 3rd-6th graders are invited to submit an experiment for the competition.

May 15th - Science Experiments Due
May 16th - Judging will take place
