This day is designated nationwide to show appreciation of the work our administrative professionals do. Let's show Debbie Roberts and Raquel Gonzales in the School Office just how much we appreciate all they do to keep Holmes Elementary running smoothly every day!

The PTA has arranged for a Smarty Plants Assembly on Wed, April 23rd at 10:00 & 11:20am. Using magic and music, Ms. Smarty Plants will take the students on a fun and interactive journey through the water cycle, conservation, adaptations of drought tolerant plants and much more. Students will learn how to save water and become an "Earth Hero!"

This FREE Assembly is made possible by a generous grant from The City of San Diego, The Water Conservation Garden, and Ms. Smarty-Plants.

Our annual Family Science Night "Amazing Space" will be on Thursday, April 24th from 6:30pm - 8pm in the Holmes Auditorium.

This event is put on by the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center and by our parent volunteers. It is sponsored by Holmes PTA, so your cost is ZERO!

The Girl Scouts are forming a new Daisy troop at Holmes. Girls in K-1st Grade and their families are invited to a Girl Scout information meeting on Tuesday, April 29th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Holmes Cafeteria. See the Girl Scout Flyer for more information. 

Come out for a free family-friendly movie night! We will be showing Disney's "Frozen" on Friday, May 2nd at 6:00pm in the Holmes Auditorium. Food, popcorn and snacks will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30pm.  

Marston Middle School families and friends (including 5th & 6th grade families enrolling in 2014-15) are invited to an Annual Spring Open House on Thursday, May 8th from 4:30-7:30pm. Enjoy a family dinner in the courtyard, bid on great items at the silent auction (beginning at 4:30), listen to the Jazz Band (6pm), and visit classrooms (6:30 - 7:30pm).

The Silent Auction will include restaurant gift certificates, tickets to local entertainment attractions, participation in fun activities with teachers, and baskets full of wonderful gift items. See a Preview List.
