Parent-Teacher Conferences - Nov 19-22nd
 
Parent-Teacher Conferences are on Tuesday, Nov 19th - Friday, Nov 22nd. Conferences are a dedicated time for you to discuss the academic and social progress of your child with his/her teacher. Be sure to set up a conference with your child's teacher if you have not yet done so!
 
PLEASE NOTE: there is an early 1:15pm dismissal every day during Conferences.

GATE Meeting - Nov 18th

The next GATE meeting will be on Monday, Nov 18th and promises to be an exciting one! Superintendent Cindy Marten will speak and address her vision and plans for GATE in our District. Childcare and translation are provided.

The Superintendent's address is scheduled for 6:30pm in the Ballard Center Auditorium, 2375 Congress St., San Diego 92110.

Recycling Contest - Ends Dec 6th

Our annual Recycling Contest has begun and runs through Dec 6th. Please bring in those used ink cartridges and old cell phones. We are also collecting video games & systems, DVD movies, old laptops, digital cameras, GPS systems and iPods. 
 
Be sure to mark your items with your child's classroom number. The winning class will receive a $50 check to spend as it chooses.

All San Diego Unified schools and offices will be CLOSED Nov 25th-29th for Thanksgiving Break. Schools and SDUSD facilities will reopen on Monday, Dec 2nd. Enjoy this time with your family!
