It was another great weekend in Beaufort despite the rainy weather from Tropical Storm Bonnie. Memorial Day and the Original Gullah Festival celebrations drew in many smiling faces to brighten the weekend.

 
Registration for the upcoming SC Humanities Festival is now open (and free)! I hope you plan to join this special event to be inspired, enriched and engaged with lectures, films and exhibits June 10-11. The kick-off is June 9 at USCB Center for the Arts which includes an overview of festival happenings and refreshments!
