You're Invited to the 4th Annual Get Your Red On Event for Women

Join us for an evening dedicated to women and their heart health.  Dr. Joseph Guarino will present "Know Your Numbers" to provide a better understanding of your cholesterol, glucose, and blood pressure levels.  Dr. Ibrahim Moussa will discuss PAD, peripheral artery disease, its prevalence, symptoms and treatment options.  Toms River Chief of Police Mitch Little will discuss personal safety and demonstrate simple techniques to use to protect yourself.  Light dinner will served, and there will be great giveaways and door prizes!

Ocean County Mall, Toms River
 
We're bringing together several dance troupes to promote the importance of physical activity to promote heart health. Cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure screenings and counseling will be offered by registered nurses.  Dr. Russell Cornell, subsection chief of cardiology, will speak at noon.

Register Now for the Cardiac & Concussion Program for Children
  

The Matthew J. Morahan, III Health Assessment Center for Athletes at Barnabas Health will be holding free cardiac and concussion screenings for children. 

 

April 5, 2014

8 am - Noon 

Community Medical Center

 

Cardiac Screenings: 6 - 18 years old, open to the first 130 children

Concussion Screenings: 12 years old and up, open to the first 80 children
