Community Medical Center Awarded Gold Seal of Approval in Six Clinical Areas from The Joint Commission

Community Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, recently earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with its national standards for health care quality and safety in six areas: Stroke, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Heart Failure, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Total Joint Replacement Knee and Total Joint Replacement Hip.

 

The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval was awarded after Community Medical Center underwent a voluntary onsite survey process through the Disease-Specific Certification program.

Free Health Screenings for Women in Ocean County

The New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection program offers uninsured women between the ages of 40 and 64 in Ocean County free clinical breast examinations, mammograms, cervical exams and pap smears.  To qualify for the program, participants must meet specific income requirements.
