Free Cardiac and Concussion Screenings for Young Athletes
The Matthew J. Morahan, III Health Assessment Center will be hosting cardiac and concussion screenings for young athletes at Community Medical Center on Saturday, April 13 from 8 am - 12 noon. Experts recommend these screenings to be repeated every two years. Cardiac screenings will be held for 6 - 18 year olds, and are open to the first 150 athletes to register. Concussion screenings are for young athletes 12 years old and up, and open to the first 80 registrants.

Bring Your Furry Friends to Bark in the Park!
Paws for Cancer is selling Paw Passes to the Saturday, May 4th Lakewood BlueClaws game. These passes allow your favorite pooch to enjoy the 4 pm baseball game with you! Tickets for pets are $2, and tickets for their human friends are $10.

Portions of the ticket sales will benefit the Community Medical Center J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center and the Sunday, September 15 Paws for Cancer event, which helps raise funding for local dog therapy organizations and various therapy programs at the Cancer Center.
