The Family Farm flowers

It's the first Saturday of the month and you know what that means? Sale Saturday! Vendors will be offering select items at reduced prices. Is there something you've been wanting to try but haven't? Sale Saturday is a great time to give that mystery food a chance to impress you. Look for the blue sale tags at your favorite vendors.

Christie at Johnston Farms will have beautiful large heads of lettuce 2 for $4 and 1lb bags of salad mix for $9! She will also have a variety of fresh herbs including cilantro, sage, thyme, oregano, mint, chives and parsley. Ask Christie about how to dry your herbs for use later on. Look for Johnston Farms beautifully colored geraniums available in upright and trailing varieties to brighten that late spring garden. Oh, I almost forgot! Christie will have globe artichokes too!

In case you haven't heard Good to Go Grocery is back! Not only are they our summer music sponsor, they are also one of the best bakeries in town. This week Samantha will be working and she will have croissants made with organic crimini mushrooms, leeks, white wine and parmesan cheese. For you sweet croissant lovers; boysenberry cream croissants made with Graysmarsh Farm boysenberries. Yum! Don't forget to take home some bear claws for Sunday morning! They're the best!

Yong Jin Asian Bakery has some new treats. They are bringing gluten free mochi, both savory and sweet. Not sure what mochi is? You'll have to stop by and have Shannarose give you the lowdown on it. They will also have lotus leaf wraps with sticky rice, pork, mushrooms, shrimp, and a soft egg yolk and barbeque fried rice. Man that sounds deeeelish!

Our good buddy Debi and The Shepherd's Fold returns this week. Yahoo! Debi will have
summer weight scarves, ponchos, shawls and purses along with all the great rugs, hats and other beautiful things our Textiles Queen makes. We know you've missed her so stop by, see what's new and say "welcome back Debi!"

We have a new vendor joining us this week. Ron Humphrey of Rainshadow Connections will be showing off his beautiful wood work with handy items like cedar garden baskets, serving trays, frames and lots of different kinds of boxes. Everything is made from locally harvested materials. You may know Ron from the Sequim Open Aire Market where he will also be vending this summer. Stop by and give Ron a big PAFM welcome!

This is the first week of our summer music season and kicking it off is our good friend and all around wiseguy Thom Davis!
No really! I mean he is a WISE guy.You get all that wisdom from having a lot of birthdays and Thom's is this Saturday! Happy Birthday Thom!

The PA City Council members join us for their first of the month meet and greet and they would love it if you stopped by and had a chat. Not sure which council members are joining us this week so you will just have to stop by and find out.
