This is Mother's Day weekend and that means we are holding our 3rd Annual Decadent Dessert Auction. That's right! It's your opportunity to support your farmers market by purchasing a decadent dessert to present to your mom and family on Mother's Day...or you can take it home for yourself! This year will be a live auction featuring local actor John Manno as our auctioneer. John's going to get you fired up for tasty desserts so come on down!
If you like to make fabulous desserts we would love to have one to auction off. Not many rules; no cheesecakes, meringues or whipped cream. Easy. We will also need an ingredient list so people with allergies can see what is in each dessert. Please have them at the Market by 9:30. Thank you in advance!
Mother's Day is also a great time to give mom beautiful flowers. Both our "flower ladies" have gorgeous flowers and hanging baskets that any mother would love to receive. You can become the "favorite" if you present mom with a cake AND flowers!
Back for a blow-out sale, Betsy Wharton and Clallam Canning Co. will be at this week's market to sell the last of her 2012

pickles. Supplies are limited so this may be a one or two week opportunity .. get them while they last. Bread and Butter, Garlic Dill and Spicy Dill are available until they run out! Next batch of pickles won't be available until September.
Andrew of Port Angeles Coffee Roasting Co. will be offering cups of hot Turkish coffee using his wonderful Vietnam Robusta beans. For a hot coffee treat give it a try!
Molly over at SpringRain Farm has more chicken! She also has lamb chops and expects to have FRESH chicken in about 4 weeks. In addition you can find a small amount of delicious purple and green asparagus for that great spring tonic. SpringRain's red romaine head lettuce and mixed salad will be at the market for a couple more weeks and they are excited to offer fresh herbs as well. That's an entire meal from one booth!
Save the Date
The Wednesday Market opens June 19th, 10am-2pm and runs until September 18th.
