 Lavender Skep Apiary

He's baaaaack! Ed Giersch and his wonderful lavender honey returns to the Market for a limited engagement. He's got the honey we all know and love and he has new honeys for the first time. They are flavored cream honeys and he has them in raspberry and cinnamon! Whoa! Give 'em a try and see what you think. Welcome back Ed!

This week Christie Johnston will have tender shoots of broccoli just right for steaming, stir frying or eating fresh with a little dip! She'll also have braising mix, leeks, herbs, potatoes, apples and the last of the celeriac. Her wonderful organic plant starts will be coming soon!

Devon tells me Nash's will be bringing kale raabs. leeks, and root veggies galore. They are on the tail end of beets and Brussels sprouts, so get 'em while you can! Collard greens will be on sale this week at $2.50/bunch! Look for their recipe cards for collard, pear, and caramelized onion casserole! Mmm!

Starting Saturday April 6th, The first Saturday of each month will be "sale day". Participating vendors will have a blue sale tag with the Market logo on it on the items that are on special for that day. Keep your eyes out for those tags and pick up extra savings!
