What are 3 words everyone wants to hear from their loved one? "I MADE DINNER!"
Holly Clark says "make it totally grass fed and nutrient dense using Clark Farms meats". Make a special Valentine's dinner using a cut of beef that can feed two people and comes naturally shaped like a heart, the Porterhouse Steak. The Porterhouse cut is a T-bone steak with an exceptionally large tenderloin cut on one side and a New York cut on the other. Pick up this decadent steak for you and your sweetie this weekend to say I care in so many ways.
Devon of Nash's says it may be last week for delicious carrots! They may have one more week left after this, but hard to tell, so come down and get 'em while they're still here! They will also have apples from Tonnemaker Farms in Eastern Washington. YUM! and on sale!
Fugi $1.49/lb ($0.50 off a pound!)
Braeburn $1.49/lb ($0.50 off a pound!)
Cameo $1.29/lb ($0.70 off a pound!)

Now is the time of year when I start going through my closets and drawers looking to purge the accumulation of old clothing I no longer wear. (Hey, a girl has to stay busy you know?!) If you do this too and you happen to run across some old tee shirts you want to get rid of you can bring them down to the Market! We have a customer who is using them to make us some funky shopping bags. The ideal tee shirt is a medium or large that is in descent shape (no holes or threadbare). She does a little magic with scissors and thread and...voila; shopping bag! There is a large box at the manager's booth where you can drop them off and see a sample bag. We'd appreciate it!
Our buddy Alan Richardson of Dungeness Seaworks is still out this week with that nasty bug everyone has had but I'm hoping he'll be well enough to make it to the Market this weekend. If he makes it he will have salmon, ling cod and halibut. If not this week, surely he'll be better by next week right? Ya gotta hope!
Don't forget that Pane d'Amore is picking up the pastry slack while Good to Go is on sabbatical. Wade brings some very tasty, sweet and delicious pastry delights each week so you'll want to check them out!
