GREETINGS FROM TGS
Thanks to everyone for participating in a wonderful Grandparents/Grandfriends Day last Friday. It was a  beautiful day, everyone seemed to really enjoy their morning at TGS, and we loved hosting the visitors!

The K-6th Spring Concert was amazing. Students were animated and engaged and it was a magical evening. Thanks to Alli for another great performance and to Erika Kaczmarek for her stage decorations.

We are excited to announce that kindergarten and 3rd grade reached 100% Annual Fund participation, and plans for their ice cream social are underway!

We are looking forward to the last weeks of the school year. Have a great Memorial Day weekend! 

CR�PE LUNCH THIS FRIDAY!
On Friday, May 27, the 7th grade will be serving cr�pes for lunch for $6 per person. There will be turkey, turkey and cheese, or just plain cheese.  Gluten free cr�pes also will be available. Dessert will be Nutella cr�pes, with a gluten free option. Please remember to send in some money with your child on Friday, the 27th.
  
STROLLING OF THE HEIFERS - LAST CALL
Tonight is your last chance to RSVP for the stroll AND receive a custom t-shirt. Anyone is welcome to join us on the day of to march, but the only way to receive a shirt for your child is to RSVP before Thursday. 

We currently have 45 students and 35 parents signed up to represent TGS in the parade! If you have already signed up, keep your eyes open for detailed information on the logistics of parade day which will be emailed soon.

TGS SPEAKEASY - Friday, June 3
Calling all high rollers! Join the TGS community for an evening of carousing on June 3 at 7:00pm. Your $30 donation gives you exclusive access to
gambling, an antique beer truck, a signature cocktail from Saxton's River Distillery, and a silent auction at the Burns' Barn, North Road, Walpole, NH.

TGS SUMMER CAMP  
Arts. Outdoor Exploration. Imagination. 
 
Each weeklong session is an integrated camp experience. Students can choose from daily options in arts, nature, biking, and outdoor skills.
 
We offer programs for children ages 5-12, with counselor in training opportunities for kids 13 and older.

Session II, July 18-22
Session III, July 25-29

READ A GOOD BOOK LATELY?
We would love your book recommendations. Each year we provide suggested summer reading lists to students entering grades 2-8 in the fall. We also create one for adults and love to include titles parents recommend. So if you have read something you would like to suggest, please let me know. Books from all genres (fun, serious, thought and laugh provoking) are included.

Summer Language Intensives in Brattleboro, Vermont
Express Fluency is offering some exciting short-term language classes this summer. Join us for French, Spanish, or Latin this July and August.

Sabrina Sebban-Janczak, 2016 Colorado Foreign Language Teacher of the Year, is coming from Denver to teach this weekend class. It will be a great intro to French- or a refresher for anyone who studied in school but just came out with a head full of vocab and verb conjugations. Here is a short video clip of Sabrina teaching.
August 11th-12th
(Think Latin is about translating texts? Think again. Justin Slocum Bailey of Indwelling Language in Arbor, MI is going to bring Latin to life.) A great foundation for the study of any romance language.

August 13th-17th 
This can also be taken as a 2, 3, or 4, day class (price pro-rated). The progress that students make in the 5-day program is truly impressive. Taught by Elissa McLean.

August 13th-14th (or extend to 15th)
Taught by Laurie Clarcq- international presenter and teacher trainer extraordinaire.
 
NATURE MUSEUM SUMMER CAMPS
