GREETINGS FROM TGS

Dear Families,

Thank you all for your patience and flexibility on Tuesday as we dealt with the inclement weather and delayed the start of school. The faculty met on Monday for a professional development inservice. We enjoyed a thoughtful and productive day together and are looking forward to making the most of the little more than two weeks between now and our March vacation. Today our fourth and final Head of School candidate is on campus, and I hope that many of you will be able to attend the 3:15pm community meeting. We look forward to your valuable feedback on our candidates.

Thanks,
Dan

LIBRARY BIRTHDAY PARTY FEBRUARY 24
56th Library birthday celebration Wednesday, February 24! Next week the Library will celebrate its 56th birthday with a fun party. The entire school will fill the library to celebrate reading, books, and our library with lively entertainment and gift opening.  And since it's a birthday party, we end with yummy cupcakes.

Students received a letter and wish list last week. If you would like to give a book to the library, books may be ordered online from Village Square Booksellers, local and independent, or, if you would like to see a copy of what was sent home with your student, please visit the Library blog.

Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or if you need a copy of the letter/wish list. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Ponnie
