GREETINGS FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL
The countdown to the Medieval Faire is on! Starting
Thursday, our campus will be transformed into a wonderful Medieval village. Sir Lancelot has tested his ride, the Dragon has come out of its lair, and the Swan Swing is ready and in place on its perch. I can't wait to see the smiling faces of our students and many new friends on Saturday as they experience the magic of the Faire for the first or the 10th time. Thank you all in advance for your volunteer efforts, creativity, and dedication to this one of a kind event. We have changed the date of our annual Putney Mountain hike to October 14, and we have ordered perfect fall weather. Parents are encouraged to attend this all school event and we look forward to a great day together.
For the Putney Mountain hike, buses will depart TGS at 11:45. Parents can follow the buses from school or meet us at the trailhead at noon. We expect that everyone will reach the summit by 12:30. We will eat lunch and have an ASM before heading down by 1:15 or 1:30. It's safe to say we will be back to school by 2pm. Pizza lunch will NOT be served on the mountain.
I hope to see many of you this afternoon for the running race at Kurn Hattin School. Next Wednesday, October 14 is our Fun Run at Green Mountain Orchards. This is a fun event for runners of all abilities and everyone is welcome. Please contact Mary if your child is planning to attend.
