GREETINGS FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Today we all joined together to celebrate the Library's 55th Birthday. There were lots of cupcakes, shared stories, and gifted books, and once again we all managed to squeeze into this small community space. We are fortunate to have such a cozy, well stocked, and well tended Library at TGS and we appreciate all that Ponnie does to build up and support this space and program. Thanks to so many of you who donated both cupcakes and new books to our Library, in turn helping to ensure that our selection stays current and robust.

Due to the recent snow storms, we were forced to cancel one of our TGS ski days. Luckily, we were able to work with Okemo and Grafton to reschedule. We will have our final ski day on Wednesday, March 4th, so let's hope the snow is here to stay!

We are excited for our 8th graders who have made it to Ecuador safely and begun their service learning adventure. We will post updates on Facebook when we receive reports from Liz and look forward to hearing more about their amazing adventure soon.

This Sunday the West Hill Shop will host a community ski day at Green Mountain Orchards. The orchard only allows grooming once per year for this special ski day, and it is not to be missed. TGS is excited to support this event and this year our campus trails are included in the day. I hope anyone interested in attending this free community event will give it a try, as the orchard is a great place to ski and spend the day with family and friends. From Diny at West Hill Shop: LIMITED free rentals available from 10-12 and 12:30-2:30 Must reserve rentals in advance! Call 802-387-5718 or email: diny@westhillshop.com (Of course there is no guarantee that equipment will be available for everyone or that Mother Nature will cooperate.)

We hope you all have a wonderful February vacation next week!

Dan
