THE GRAMMAR SCHOOL WEDNESDAY NOTICE

January 14, 2015

GREETINGS FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL
Today at All School Meeting we will begin community conversations about the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The kindergarten and preschool will share "I Have a Dream" cloud mobiles, and Alli will lead us through a few all school songs as well as we celebrate MLK Jr.'s prolific life. As a reminder, we do not have school on Monday, January 19 as we observe the MLK holiday. We also do not have classes on conference day, January 28.

Yesterday we had another great ski day, with students enjoying both Dusty Ridge and Okemo. Despite the low volume of snow, there is great skiing at TGS and the woods have been fully groomed as of today. Our trails are in great shape and are open to parents and community members, so I invite you to explore them with your children if you are interested.

Currently the faculty are running a meal train for the Fletchers, which will continue through the end of January. A TGS parent meal train is also being organized for the Fletcher family and is slated to begin in February. In a future Wednesday Notice, we will share a link where those who are interested may sign up to participate in the meal train if they are interested.

Sincerely,

Dan
