Volunteers donate over 9,000 hours at Voyageurs
In the past year, 126 volunteers at Voyageurs National Park donated 9,942 hours of time (almost 10,000 hours!). That translates into 414 days of volunteer time donated to Voyageurs.
At VNPA's fall Volunteer Rendezvous, volunteers donated almost 200 hours working on 3 miles of trails and planting over 600 plants. Through the dedicated service of park volunteers, Voyageurs accomplishes a tremendous amount of valuable work. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers!

You can help protect the lands and waters of Voyageurs, Minnesota's national park, and engage future park stewards with outdoor experiences like the National Park Teen Ambassadors program. Donate to Voyageurs National Park Association on Give to the Max Day! www.givemn.org/vnpa
Why give on November 15?
1) Every online donation VNPA receives on Nov. 15 increases our organization's chances to win even more money through Give to the Max Day golden ticket grants. GiveMN.org will randomly select one nonprofit donor every hour to have $1,000 added to their donation. Also one donor will be selected randomly from throughout the 24 hours of giving to have $10,000 added to their donation!
2) Online donations to VNPA on Nov. 15 will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $1,000.

National Park Teen Ambassadors Visit 8th Grade Classrooms
Our National Park Teen Ambassadors are visiting eighth grade classrooms this month telling about their experiences in Voyageurs National Park and why our public lands are so important. Our hope is to educate more youth about the park, and also to expand this program each year to get more youth into the park.
