Hello, all,
I would like to introduce or "re-introduce" you to our closest SBDC neighbor; the RCC SBDC in Grants Pass. As you may know, there are 19 SBDCs in the State of Oregon, but because of our close proximity, we have the opportunity to work very collaboratively with RCC SBDC. When you scroll down this month's newsletter, you see many training programs and workshops offered by the two SBDCs in this region. Click on the link to the RCC SBDC and view their video, or look at the Small Business Management program to see if it's right for you.
We are here to serve you, and between RCC and SOU SBDCs, we have programs to fit your needs. Take a look and Happy Spring!
Best,
Jack

2016 has come in with a rush, and just like that the first quarter is complete! It has been a busy year for us so far at the SOU Small Business Development Center. We have hosted 11 events and met with over 92 counseling clients! Our monthly Lunch, Learn, & Launch workshops have become a favorite within the local entrepreneurial community, while our Client Orientation workshops continue to deliver all of the information new business owners need to get their ideas off the ground.
The breakout star of our offerings is Fueling Up!, our new professional development series. Our first workshop of the series, Create a Successful Crowdfunding Campaign, garnered rave reviews from attendees for presenter Donnie Maclurcan and the wealth of new information he shared. "5 star presentation," wrote one attendee, while another found it, "highly valuable, not just in crowdfunding!" The next in the series, Everything is Possible with Marketing presented by Ginger Johnson, is sure to be a hit as well. Ginger's exuberance for marketing is contagious and can help you boost your skills to the next level! For more information and to register, click here.
Whether you are starting a new business or growing your existing one, the SOU SBDC is here to help. With our combination of one-on-one, action driven counseling and professional classes and workshops, we can help you drive your business to profitability and sustainability.
