What wondrous love it this?  We know...it is God's love made real and manifest in Jesus the Christ: the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Prince of Peace and His reign shall last for ever and ever.

To all my sisters and brothers in this beautiful Community of St. Nicholas, I wish to express and share my warmest and most loving Easter blessings with all.  May the full and lasting peace of the Risen Christ be with us, sustain and strengthen us and fill our hearts, souls and bodies with peace and joy!

Let us rejoice and sing out in joy for Jesus has risen from the grave and has conquered sin and death forever!

Happy Easter.

Help us Decorate for Easter This Saturday
All are welcome to come and help clean and decorate the church for Easter.  There will be lots to do  . . . a font to fill, flowers to unwrap and arrange, floors to vacuum, banners to hang.

We'll be there this Saturday beginning at 10:30AM.  We'd love to have you join us!

Blessing of Easter Food & Baskets on Holy Saturday

We will once again be offering the Blessing of Easter baskets and/or Easter food on Holy Saturday.  Please bring your baskets to St. Nicholas on Holy Saturday anytime between 11 AM and 1 PM for a blessing.  This practice was brought to us two years ago by the Tamaski family and has become a wonderful tradition at St. Nicholas.

Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny

Golden Egg Peeps
Come on down...our little ones and those 'young at heart,' to the St. Nicholas Easter Egg Hunt.

After Easter Sunday liturgy (March 31st, 10 am), the hunt for sweet treasures begins in both the Gathering Space and in Holy Innocents Hall.

And...rumor has it the Easter Bunny, who will be on hand has already hidden the Golden Egg some place, somewhere in the building.  Whoever finds this egg also wins the Easter Basket.

Lots of fun and good things to share.  All are welcome!
Prayer Requests

Easter blessings, the full grace and peace of the Risen Christ be with each member of the Community of St. Nicholas and all our family and friends.

Pam Hallman who is facing more surgery and rehab after a very bad fall:  for her continued recovery, healing and return to full and sound health.

In thanksgiving for Cathy Walters, Mindy Golden's sister, decision to pursue and continue her medical procedures in Los Angeles, to be close to family.

Santa Grasso Leonardi, Manny's second cousin's wife in Sicily who is pregnant and having serious heath issues: pray she is able to carry this pregnancy to full term and deliver a healthy baby into the world. She has lost two babies in two previous pregnancies already.

Quenten Fabiano, a friend of St. Nicholas was in a serious car accident and has suffered severe brain damage:  pray for his full and complete recovery and for the strength and perseverance of his family and friends.

Richard Nordberg, father of Penny Mandziara, who is encountering some serious health complications: pray for his recovery and well being and for patience, understanding and acceptance to all who love and care for Richard.

For Eunice Dohra, Hope Smith, Marcia Kizior, Pamela Joy DeHaven, Ethel "Corkey" Stratton, Richard and Mary Gans: members and family of our community of St. Nicholas who continue to experience health concerns: for the full restoration of sound health and a productive life.

Bernie, youngest son of our Eunice, who continues to encounter serious health matters while recovering from major surgery.

Ken, the brother of our Mary Beth Jarvis who suffered a stroke on Christmas Eve.  Ken is currently in critical condition, having lost sight in his left eye and motion on his left side.  Pray for Ken, his recovery and his well being and pray for his family and friends for strength and support.

Peter Barlow, son of Bill and Kathy Barlow: for his safety and the safety of all our military men and women overseas.
