Learn how to create dynamic compositions whether you're a photographer or an artist who sketches or paints from photos. In this eight-week workshop, we'll work with a variety of subjects: still life, landscape, people and animals, to fine tune and improve our command of composition. Field trips include meeting at the seaside, a farm and wandering downtown Riverhead with our cameras.

Each week students will be introduced to a new technique and materials to explore. Some techniques include: making clasps and findings, soldering, drilling shells and beach glass, creating patinas, making photo transfer pendants, macramé bracelets and closures and how to work with leather. In each class there will be plenty of time to work independently in an inspired environment and receive personalized instruction on a project you bring in.
