At Kapell Gallery, Greenport

The Kapell Gallery is pleased to present "No Place Like Home", a show of paintings by brilliant Bronx, NY artist Daniel Hauben. In one room his sensitive and colorful renderings of the people and streets of New York will be featured. Paintings range in size from 9" x 12" to 6 ft x 10 ft! Signed and numbered prints will also be for sale. In the days prior to the show, Danny will paint the streets and people of Greenport en plein air, adding an air of suspense to what might appear in the gallery. Look for him near the corner of Front & Main! Also, see this 2012 NYT story about a commission Danny executed for the Bronx Community College North Hall and Library that caught the gallery's attention and led to this show: NY Times Article: Daniel Hauben.
