 Long Island Winterfest 2013 celebrates six consecutive years of exceptional jazz performances over six weekends. From February 9 to March 17, 2013 the East End of Long Island will be alive and in full swing with more than 70 live jazz performances, featuring many Grammy-nominated artists.Dozens of cultural attractions and special offers on hotel and B&B getaway packages, restaurants and winery tours will be available. Winterfest is a project of East End Arts, the Long Island Wine Council, Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Suffolk County Department of Economic Development. In 2012, Long Island Winterfest Jazz on the Vine was honored with the Arts Destination Marketing Award presented by Americans for the Arts and Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI).
