Team Check-In Procedures

Teams may be penalized if they are not checked in by 10:00am on the first day of the tournament, even if they play in the afternoon.
No teams will be checked in after 10:00am on the first day of play.
Player & Staff Wristbands:
At Team Check In, the Team Representative is issued wristbands for each player on the roster, up to 15 and each staff member up to 3 (can be coaches, chaperones, team representatives, managers, etc. or any combination of staff positions but no more than 3). These wristbands are included as part of the team registration fee - there is no extra charge for them.
- Staff members listed on more than one roster receive only 1 wristband for the event.
- All wristbands must be picked up at one time by the person checking in the team.
COACHES
REMEMBER to issue your players a wristband before you ask them to meet you inside the playing venue. Players who do not have a wristband will not be allowed into the playing facility.

All divisions will play in Hall B5 at the Georgia World Congress Center at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW, Atlanta GA 30303. Please click here to view court locations and a map.

Guest Registration
All family, friends and fans must register as guests. Registered guests will receive either a One Day Registration for $10 per day or a Weekend Guest Registration wristband for $20. A One Day Registration is valid only for the day on which it is picked up. Guests younger than 6 must register, but are free of charge.
Guest registration can be completed online here or at the GWCC in the Hall B5 Lobby. On site registration will begin on Friday from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm and resume each day at 7:00 am in Hall B5.
REGISTRATION FOR PLAYERS AND COACHES:
Player and coach registration is part of team check in. Wristbands will be distributed to teams at check in. Players and coaches will receive registration wristbands and will need to show their wristband to enter the hall.
Everyone entering the convention center must have a wristband or he/she will not be allowed into the facility.

Practice & Play Times
Teams may use one court for one hour on Friday, January 18, between
4 pm and 7 pm, provided we are finished setting up all the courts. Teams MUST check in prior to using a court for practice. Court use is first come first served basis on unused courts. We reserved the right to deny practice time if circumstances dictate. All players and spectators must leave the halls by 7:00 pm.
Competition begins at 9 am on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The event runs in waves. The morning wave begins at 9 am; the afternoon wave begins at 3:30 pm. All teams should be prepared to play at 9 am on
Day 1.
Final matches on most courts are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Monday, January 21. BE AWARE, that many courts run late on the 3rd Day. Playing times for 2nd and 3rd days will depend on how the team finishes the day before. DO NOT assume you play in the same wave on the second day as you did on first.
