November Update from
The Center
Greetings!
November is a time of transition as we begin to look back at the past year and plan for the next one. What should we do differently? What could we do better?
I hope that we have played a part in your creative development this year, whether in our studios, on the gallery walls or on the streets of Chelsea.

Off The Wall
Thank you to everyone who came out to "Off The Wall!" last week and to everyone who contributed to the event's success - Co-chairs Sandy Ruda and Cecilly Sullivan and the "Off The Wall" Committee, artists who donated artwork, businesses that contributed items for the popular "Mystery Can Game," and Opici Wines, Metropolitan Seafood and Wegmans for their in-kind donations!
An especially big thank you is due Investors Bank, The Pluckemin Inn and Flemington Car & Truck Country for their generous sponsorship support.
In ways small and large, together each of you made a difference and provided important support for all aspects of operations and programming at The Center.

The Center is hosting a pop-up exhibit featuring "The Singing Head," a book that is the result of the collaboration of three river town artists: Fred Lowe, poet of Frenchtown, NJ; Val Sivilli, painter and graphic artist of Mount Joy, PA.; and Ulla Warchol, book designer and fabricator of Upper Black Eddy, PA.
Poem-prints will be on exhibit from Thursday, October 30 through Saturday, November 1 and will be available for sale along with numbered copies of the book at a reception on Sunday, November 2nd from 2 until 4 p.m. Light fare and wine will precede an informal discussion among the three artists about their collaboration.

Please stop by to see the pop-up exhibit or the Juried Exhibition, sign up for a late fall or winter class, do some holiday shopping and celebrate with us at the Holiday Party and Boutique. We love seeing you!
