Sundays with TJ: 100 Years of Memories on Varner Road by Janis F. Kearney
Kearney writes of her father, Thomas James "TJ" Kearney, who grew up in rural southeast Arkansas in the early 1900s. His purpose-filled life included an impoverished childhood, early years as a drifter and vagabond traveling the country by train and foot, and then 70 years of working and raising 19 children on the 8-mile gravel strip called Varner Road.
