Spiritual Resiliency:
Key Principles Following Trauma and Loss
by Janet M. Kamer, Ph.D.

A Box of Legos
By Daniel P. Huerta, MSW, LCSW
There is nothing like seeing a young child dig into a box full of Legos! For a child, a box full of Legos offers endless possibilities for incredible creations. Imagine if our lives could be compared to a box of Legos. God gives each of us the opportunity to choose what we do with our lives, which is like him giving us our own box full of Legos ready to be snapped together into a masterpiece. Our box is our box. We cannot trade it with anyone else nor can we build someone else's box of Lego's; however, the danger and the blessing is that we can influence one another throughout the building process.
