While working with one of my favorite clients in Aspen this week she told me, "I have a new name for you." Really? I wanna hear. "Cosmic counselor." That's really cool. She said she was telling people she was having a reading with her Feng Shui/Chinese Astrologer it sounded too vague and Chinesey. And since I utilize much more than those tools she came up with a fresh new phrase and I love it!

As you get ready to entertain for the holidays, I want to remind you to invite good vibes or auspicious Qi into your home with a Ming Tang or Bright Hall. In Feng Shui, this means your foyer or the entry just inside your front door. The front door represents your money so why wouldn't you want to make sure it circulates good Qi? When your Ming Tang is small and congested your Feng Shui will be mediocre.

Ming Tang Tips:

You want an open clean space
Excellent lighting
Bring out a welcome mat or rug
Add a bench
Entry table as "base camp"
Bowl for keys and mail
Fresh flowers attract money
Mirror on one side of the wall
Spiritual statues & crystals
Water feature (only if it's in the SW, SE, E or N of your home)

2015 Year of the Wood Goat

Heads up - the New Year of the YI/WEI or Wood Goat is coming February 2015. I will be in NYC next week attending my teacher, Joey Yap's yearly talk. And then I will bring this information back to Los Angeles for you, including powerful activation dates which I believe were instrumental to having my best year ever in 2014.

One thing you can think about for 2015 is that when it's an earth year (Goat is Earth) you are going to want to clean your stuff! If your house or office is a disaster and your closets and bookshelves are crammed with no room available for anything new I suggest you plan now to get organized for the New Year.
