Shrine-O-Rama

April 2013

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Greetings!
I am sure you can agree that keeping up with social media as a tool for communicating to family, friends, colleagues and clients can be overwhelming. After attending a Hay House seminar I decided to focus my Face Book posts to my Fan Page using positive quotes, affirmations and insights. If you aren't currently a fan, I invite you to LIKE my page and join the discussion. Loving thoughts welcomed.
House Whispers Homework
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

myganneshDo you have a shrine or altar?

Do you have a sacred space to display your prized possessions and spiritual objects? Well, you should so here is your homework assignment.

Go through your house and gather crystals, statues and other meaningful objects you have sprinkled around. We want to focus your intentions in a shrine or altar to honor these important totems. It doesn't have to be a physical structure, it can be a designated space.

How about a bookshelf, corner of your desk, entry table or meditation area to display these magical objects. See, doesn't that look better? Can you feel the power?

Now let's activate it. How do we do that? With strong intent and belief. That's why we want to light a Magical Candle or incense. The flame and smoke sends our prayers to the universe. If the universe doesn't know what we want how can it manifest?

Pictured her is my Ganesh shrine on the corner of my desk. It is my focal point for positive energy, especially at the beginning of the work day. If your shrine turns out great - send me a photo. I'd love to see it. And don't forget to visit my on-line Good Karma Shop for magical supplies.

BaZi Team-Building Workshops
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FreeArts
Here's a new twist on Team-Building! I use the 4,000 year old science of BaZi Chinese Astrology to bring diverse groups together in a more harmonious way. Every company has their team of players and each person has a unique talent and strength to bring to the table. Getting to know each other in a relaxed and fun workshop brings out the best in everyone. How does it work? Send me birth dates. That's all. And each person receives their personal BaZi chart and handouts. Together we read everyone's chart in a group setting.
Last month I was blessed to work with two exciting groups. The non-profit Free Arts for Abused Children used the team-building workshop to take a break from their usual routine and bond. It was fun and at times silly and this group of dedicated hard-working folks got a chance to get to know themselves a little better. Which results in having more joy at work.
Evertruth Health Care Center is my go-to center for all things health and healing. Owner Sai-Ling Michael is a healing angel who brought me in to help the staff focus on their true potential. I can't say enough great things about this group so if you need chiropractic adjustments, body work, facials, physical rehab or just want to stay healthy and vibrant this is where you want to go.
Let me ask - could your company benefit from knowing you care about them? Do they deserve to be empowered and lifted to their greatest potential? Would you be a better leader if you understood the "secret sauce" of each person? Would it save you money to hire the best people for each position from the start? If so, give me a buzz and let's set up a team-building event: 213.379.5677.
Shopping for Nirvana in India
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

pink elephantsI'd like to thank ACES - the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies for hosting my India Slideshow in March. I got a chance to show off my photographs (and photos from my travel pal Chester Simpson) from my first visit to India. All those who attended got to hear spiritual stories about India as well as valuable travel tips like; "Stepping in cow poo in strappy sandals is not sexy."

For those who missed it the first time you have a second chance at the Pitkin County Library in Aspen August 22. Save the date and I'll be back at you closer to the summer with details.
