Parent Volunteer Coaches Needed for Odyssey of the Mind
Parent or Adult Volunteers are needed to coach teams for Odyssey of the Mind! Becoming an Odyssey of the Mind Coach will probably be one of the most rewarding volunteer roles you could possibly ever have. In the end, you will absolutely be amazed by what the kids have created and the problem they will have solved completely on their own...but they could not have done it without you as their coach!
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a team of 5-7 kids to facilitate creative problem solving, team building and brainstorming.
  • You do not need to be an expert in a particular area, you just need to have a passion to see kids grow and learn.
  • You will provide an opportunity for students to showcase a wide range of talents such as script writing, prop and scenery design, music, dance, building, robotics, etc.
  • Being a coach is the only way to ensure that your child will be on a team!
Learn more and get trained on October 3rd from 10 am -12:30pm at Oak View High School in room 104.
