	Makeup Pictures

	Monday September 21, is Make-up Picture Day for students The cameras will be in the gym, set up on the stage. Students who missed August pictures or whose picture was seriously flawed, e.g., eyes closed, will be allowed by their teachers to go to the gym at the following times: 6th grade: 8:30-9:00 am 7th grade 9:00-9:30 am 8th grade 9:30-10:00 am

	Attention students and families for the 6th and 7th grade curricular trips: 6th grade Outdoor Education and 7th grade Catalina. The deadlines for paperwork and donations are quickly approaching! Deadlines are: September 25th for Outdoor Education - 6th Grade October 1st for Catalina - 7th Grade We have a long way to go with gathering enough donations to fund each trip. If you intend to donate and have not yet done so, please do so before the trip deadlines. We are looking forward to a fun and engaging learning experience for all interested participants.

	Notes from the Office

	Students Leaving Campus Do you know what to do when your child has to leave campus early? On a day when your child needs to leave early, please send a note with your child explaining the time you will be picking them up and the reason for their early dismissal. Students should take this note to the Student Window before school, during nutrition, or during lunch. In turn, your child will receive an "*Off Campus Pass." When it is time to leave, your student will show their "Off Campus Pass" to their teacher and be allowed to go to the Student Window for check out. When you arrive to pick up your child, please come to the Main Office to sign them out. At that time, we will clear your your student to leave through the Main Office with you. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with these procedures. This helps to keep classroom interruptions to a minimum as well as have your child ready for you when you arrive. Reporting Absences/Late Arrivals* Please call the attendance line (818.597.4261) any time you know that your student will be late or absent. If your student is coming in late because of a doctor's, dentist, orthodontist, or any other appointment you should ask for a time stamp from the doctor. When your student arrives to school you do not need to bring them to the office - they instead need to come to the student window with their time stamp from the doctor. Of course, you should always call the attendance line to let us know that they will be late.

	Spirit Wear

	*Spirit Wear - Additional Order Opportunity* Did you miss out on ordering spirit wear during registration? Did you know you can wear MCMS Spirit Wear sweatpants and sweatshirts during P.E.? If you are interested in ordering spirit wear, click here for the order form. Bring your completed order form and payment to the student window as soon as possible. We need a minimum of 25 items to place an order. If we do not reach the minimum number, your check will be returned. Questions???
